The Shinkansen
We travel between Tokyo and Osaka on the 'bullet train', maximum speed 200 mph.
A great experience.
We leave on time (most trains depart on time to the second).
Everyone has a seat (each train has sixteen cars, maximum seat capacity 1,323).
It's quiet (no one is using a mobile phone).
The staff are polite (the guard bows on entering and leaving the carriage).
We arrive on time!
Osaka, Japan's 3rd largest city.

In the evening we visit Den-Den Town.
Trying to find a restaurant is interesting.
Do it yourself hot pot. It tastes nicer than it looks.
Then back to the hotel for a nice cup of tea.
